One of my favorite parts about the holidays last year was participating in Shimelle's Christmas Art Journal Class. Even though I didn't finish it last year, I love how it connected me daily to the holiday season in an artful and reflective way. I love that it gave me something to focus on and pushed me to try new things.

The rest of my pages from last year are located in my Art Journal folder to the right.
I highly recommend this experience. No pressure. Just good prompts and lots of sharing with others on the same journey. Not sure yet if I am going to have a chance to participate this year - December is shaping up to be pretty busy for us with a couple weekend workshops, a vacation, and hopefully a move into a new house. If my new house gets decorated I will consider that a huge accomplishment.

I have often wondered if you would move into a house. It's a lot of work and fun but worth all of it. The class looks fun but December is so busy!

Ali, glad you're feeling better. Must be the time of year. DS was sick and missed school three days last week. Now I'm nursing a cold and fever blisters. Ugh! Hang in there!

I'm really thinking about taking this class. I am just afraid I will be so busy that I won't do it. On the other hand, it would be a great outlet for all of that holiday stress. Would love to get it for free!
