Capturing.
Tags:Caught this web near our driveway the other morning after taking Simon to school. The weather here has been so very fall - simply my favorite time of the year.
Tonight on the agenda we have pumpkin carving + cookie decorating. We shall see if Simon has developed any interest in carving since last year (when there was none).
A couple things to check out today:
1. An interview I did with Tasra Dawson from Real Women Scrap.
2. This post from Molly Irwin.
3. Maria Grace's version of the October CK KOTM.

HI Ali,
I just received 'Life Artist' and I am completely inspired. I love your style and your theories. I love that you encourage scrapbookers to just do it. Let of all the pressure and just go back to what you love doing. On reflection, it's all quite simple but sometimes we need reminding! I look forward to soaking up every moment of it :)
Thank you!
Lou

Loved Molly Irwins post. Makes ya go "hmmm" and that's the whole isn't it, to make yourself think about the possibilities?

Loved Molly Irwin's post...I had a similar experience this summer at our vacation house, where the former owners years of scrabooks are still there. My husband said I should re-do them...I said never, they are fabulous just the way they are.
Here's a link to where I blogged about it.

Ali, just spent three days in Baltimore at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at a conference on early identification of asd and intervention. I wanted to share information on an interactive project presented by a father. The project is seeking parent participation and thought of you. Here is the site: www.IANproject.org. The parent is a physician named Paul Laws whose oldest son is on the spectrum. Beverly

We had the same agenda! Unfortunately the pumpkins will have to wait because of the unbelievable amount of rain but I did get some cookie decorating done, check out my blog for pictures, I can't wait to see yours!

Hi Ali!
Very cool photo!
I have been pouring thru LA since CKU/Orlando (was in your Sat WITL track & used too much brown dotted paper - but... "it's OK!") and just LOVE every page! Have lifted a few pages too - thanks!
Yesterday, my Dec CKMag arrived & I've just got to create the Countdown to Christmas Album! I see the shortlist of supplies but if you are able to give us any more info on your process & products used thru-out the album, it would be greatly appreciated! I can't wait for Dec 1 to check each day/page you share with us! Thanks so much for all your inspiration!

What an awesome photo. Instead of pumpkin carving, why not try pumpkin painting? My 4-yo dd has no interest in carving, but she'll paint all day. It's more fun (and safer) at this age anyways!

Ali: Thanks so much for the recognition. That piece means a lot to me so I'm glad others can get something from it, and that I have a chance to see their response to it. That's rewarding. - Molly

In a rare quiet moment this evening I linked over and caught your interview at "Real Women."
You are charming! I mean, it comes through in your writing that you are intelligent, creative & kind but I didn't expect your sass & wit.
Just wanted to tell you that I appreciate your inspiration you put out there!

I snapped a similar photo last week of a web I saw while waiting for my daughter's school bus. Thanks for all the inspiration & ideas you provide! Blessings ~
