A happy little collection of images that are inspiring me right now. You can easily make one of these using Big Huge Labs Mosaic Maker. Also enjoying following along with Soule Mama's 30 days of Everyday (talk about my kind of project). And having an interesting time with my own 365 Photo Project. Trying to think of something different about myself to document each day has been cool + a thought-provoking. There's still time to start (you could start anytime really).

With 366 days in 2008, I'll have hopefully 365 pictures. I missed on 1/8, but I'm okay with that. With work and everything else, I just plain forgot. But as Annie says, "Tomorrow is another day". Thanks, Ali, for all the inspiration

Dear Allie, I have thought long and hard to find my word. I really wanted it to be just right, just what I was looking for. I have finally decided that calmness is the word for me this year. I want the word in this form beacause the defintion is perfect. A state of freedom from a disturbance and evenness of emotions or temper. I have a daughter entering her pre-teen years and I have been feeling that all I do is yell or let disturbances rule my emotions. I want to thank you so much for your blog. I love reading it everyday. I also am a huge fan of your mom's study in peace. Thanks for doing what you do. Star

I love it when you post the flicker mosaics but how do you find them? There are so many thousands of pictures that it is overwhelming.

It's my second year of doing a photo a day, and I love it! It's nice to look back and see where I've been:

I also love the everyday project, and I've just joined the flickr group and made an everyday set. Everyday is beautiful, perfect, subtly lovely.

Hey Ali, I worked on the flickr mosaic's last night and this morning off of hugelabs.com anyway It isn't coming up on my blog as big as yours and I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I must have worked on this for 5 hrs. Most of the time I would just get a blank square with an X in the upper left corner. With the picture info below. Now I just noticed that flickr is having some problems with there site right now and is shut down for a short time. Maybe that is what is going on. But the only way I was able to get the favorite's mosaic up on my blog was to save the mosaic to flikr first and then click the button that says add to blog.
So what are you doing differantly to make it work. Or if anyone else can help me out that would be great. You can find me at.. http://photography4me.blogspot.com
Thanks!

Ali, I love the mosaic and thanks for the link to the Mosaic Maker. And those bowls? My Mom lives with me and we still use the ones just like those that she got for her wedding in 1947.
