I am so looking forward to enjoying the "simple" things this holiday season. Not getting caught up in the commericalism of it -- just sitting back and enjoying the people I love in simple ways.

this holiday season i look foward to relaxing and enjoying the moments!!!
because i usually host the holiday events i get wrapped up in cooking,cleaning and my hostly duties that by the end of the day i always feel like i missed out, so this christmas i plan on leaving the dishes in the sink!!!

I most look forward to Christmas Eve - twinkling lights, yummy food, nephwes and nieces running around and music playing. It will be extra special since it will be the first one I have spent with my mother-in-law in over 10 years!

I am most looking forward to wrapping presents! It is my favorite holiday thing to do, I love to personalize each gift and make every one of them unique! that and the 2 weeks I am taking off just to relax!

Oh wow- that Vintage Christmas kit would be so perfect for my December album! I'm most looking forward to seeing my niece celebrate her first Christmas and actually documenting the details of all of the holiday season this year. :)

I love forward to being present this holiday season as my kids are getting older I want to savor every minute of it.

This year I am looking forward to having a Christmas tree! My husband and I have always traveled for the holidays but this year we are staying home and I get to decorate! I'm so excited! :-) Congrats on the blog... that's so great!

I am looking forward to spending the holidays in our new home (we close around Thanksgiving). We have been renting since we moved to San Diego and the children are so excited to have their own space (and so am I).

My boys ripping into the gifts and teaching them how many gifts under the tree is not the reason for Christmas! My mom's fabulous home cooking and BAKING!!! I gain 5lbs each holiday!

I am (as always) looking forward to experiencing the season through the eyes of my 6 year old son. He absolutely enjoys every bit of the season. We have some special events planned that will be magical. A wonderful holiday train show, a tram ride through botanical gardens lit up with christmas lights... I am REALLY looking forward to having my December album all ready to capture these moments :)

I'm most looking forward to just relaxing with my kids and doing Christmas-y things...cookies,decorating, parades :) And it will be my daughter's first Christmas so I'm really looking forward to our first Christmas as a complete family of 5!

I am so looking forward to decorating the house and sitting by the fire with the tree glowing in the background :)

I am an only child and my husband comes from a family of 15 and this year it is christmas with his family. I love seeing everyone and getting together to share tales from our year. it is always a packed house, but so much fun! and now with great grandkids it grows more and more every year.

Congrats on the top 1000- this is my favorite blog :) I am looking forward to spending time with my two girls before we add our first boy in January!

I love the day after Thanksgiving when we go to cut down our Christmas tree. Sure, there's always lots of mumbling under our breath as we struggle to get it straight and get the lights untangled. But once it's up and decorated, there's no denying that Christmas is right around the corner.

we're also trying to establish some family traditions- one of which we both pick out a yearly ornament (looking forward to picking this out too!)

Favorite thing about the holidays is the sense of time. I refuse to get caught up in a rush and just enjoy each and every moment. We laugh and enjoy each other. I love December!
