Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I love Fall! My fall cooking has become a tradition around the house without even trying to make it become one. My kids and husband request certain favorite recipes as soon as that first cool night comes through... and I love to comply! There is nothing like having the house full of yummy scents.

Fall is our favorite, too! My daughter is now old enough (13) that she likes to design and help make her own halloween costume, she paints pumpkins rather than carve them, we go for lots of walks through our 12 acres of woods, hot cocoa on weekend evenings when we (me, hubby, and daughter) snuggle down to watch a movie together, and lots of fun planning for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Roasted pumpkin seeds - seasoned salt being the key ingredient and a fine pumpkin ale (Shipyard or Harvest Moon from Blue Moon).

I take about million pictures of leaves... you'd think I'd get tired of it, but I never do.

Ohhh what a great giveaway!!!
We don't really know HOW to celebrate fall here... I wish we did... BUT when I lived in Canada we had a HUGE leaf 'collect' at my cousins house... it was a great get together cause all the family would help him clean the yard and we'd have a barbecue and chat for ours...

My family never had any real traditions, but now that I've started my own family, I really want to start some traditions that will make great memories for my kids. Reading the comments here have given me some great ideas!

We have a huge pumpkin carving party! Everyone brings their own pumpikins, we supply the food, and it is a great time. I love to see all the different ideas! When everyone is done, we place them on the front porch all lit up and judge whose is best!

We celebrate fall with an end of season marathon! On Sunday Oct 19th I did my 10th half-marathon! I was teamed up with my hubby as a full-marathon relay team and it was such fun!

We don't really have any traditions, I guess that might come with the children once we will have that. We don't celebrate Halloween here either, so it doesn't leave much. As students we don't find that we need to do much during fall, and it takes a lot of work in school to get everything done. This means that we need to relax a bit, so one of the things we do quite a lot is to cuddle up on the sofa and light a few candles now and then. That's my fall for you :) Stressful at school but cozy at home.

My Fall is typically a run around with my kids and their activities. They are all in 3 different schools this year so I'm constantly on the go...cross country meets, dancing and more dancing.
We do make some fun time for pumpkin picking and apple picking too. Leaves fall late in the season here in NJ so we have to wait for laying in the leaves pictures, but I love to take them!

fall is celebrated with stews, soups and hot chocolate with marshmallows. We've visited the (spooky) farm for pumpkins already, and here in Canada we have finished Thanksgiving already. Love all the products today :)

Fall is our favorite season -- apple picking and preserving are the top things! Long walks and it starts the hibernation we do in winter! More games with the kids around the table and more baking and cooking of comfort foods!

We carve pumpkins, rake leaves into a big pile for our dog to play in, and I get the itch to bake!
Have a wonderful day Ali!

We celebrate in many ways. Hot chocolate, warm fluffy blankets, lots of pumpkins for the outside, decorating the garage for all of the trick or treaters, warm sweaters or sweatshirts. My favorite starbucks drink is right around the corner and I look forward to it every year ... the peppermint mocha or peppermint hot chocolate. Either is totally tasty and warm.

We celebrate by finally being able to play outside without melting in the TN heat. Decorating for harvest-and of course, HOCKEY! Go wings!

We bring out the blankets that lay across the sofa's, we switch out all my candles to fall colors and scents, we decorate the front of our home with corn stalks and mums. I also start preparing the menu for Thanksgiving and start buying some of the canned goods and such early. I bring out my soups and stews cookbooks, too!

I love fall! We make an annual trip to the apple orchard & pumpkin patch, but this year we also took a scrapbooking bus tour through RI, MA, and NH. A perfect way to see the leaves in lots of states & to conjure up some mojo. We'll def. be doing this yearly!
