Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We go to a local apple orchard to have donuts and then to another pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. We rake leaves and jump in them. Carve pumpkins and decorate the house and burn pumpkin spice smelling candles. We also started this year doing a "Boo!" your neighbor tradition.

Fall for me means, reinvigorating all my routines that have slipped and slided into slapdash-get-it-done-ness! I love fall :)

I love the fall because it draws our family closer somehow. Apple picking, pie making with granddaughters, walks through the woods trying to catch a falling leaf and on and on...!

This is my first Fall as an empty nester and I am counting the days until Thanksgiving when all the kids come home to celebrate all the traditions that made them who they are.

I celebrate the fall by splurging with some pumkin ice cream (my favorite)!! I go to all of the OSU football games-each year I love the early games with the beautiful crisp weather!! Can't wait to scrapbook this seasons pictures!

Beyond all the little things that I love...apples, Russian tea, pumpkins and gourds, pumpkin spice candles and LATTEs, every year I do a pumpkin craft WITH my kids. Some years it has been covering a paper pumpkin with tissue papers, then it was gluing tissue paper in crumbled balls and now the boys are finally old enough to do the "twist the tissue paper on the pencil" project. I don't do a craft for every season, and I really should but, every year I have done this. I love lingering with them... to me that's what fall is about lingering in the crisp air, savoring the smells and tastes, reveling in the beauty of the changing leaves.

Fall is my very favorite time of the year. I love to appreciate it with apple cider and relaxing days. What could be better then shuffling through the leaves on a cool, crisp Fall day?!

Hey Ali-
Halloween is HUGE at our house. We decorate to the hilt and even host a halloween party for both our kids classes. The local news has even done the evening news from our front yard.
Would love to win my first blog drawing!

Living in Alabama where the heat and humidity are a challenge during the summer, we are energized by autumn: enjoy cool, crisp mornings; make pots of hardy soup; sit on the patio in the afternoon and soak up the sun; make plans for the soon-to-come holidays; "winterize" the gardens; savor a cup of great coffee; do "fall cleaning" of my clothes and crafts' closets; and just take time to enjoy the incredible changing of the seasons.

We are just starting to build fall traditions around here. We took our not yet walker apple picking, and hope to go pumpkin picking soon.
With our new home, we've celebrated the fall by raking leaves and decorating our home for the season.
And there's always the joy of COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!

Closet reorganization, chili, spending time outside (finally, now that the temps are below 100 degrees) and this year will start our yearly tradition of the local pumpkin patch.

This is my son's first fall. I'm looking forward to starting new traditions with him and carrying on the ones my parents started with me. We go hiking and take in the beautiful fall colors and then cook out over a fire.

Living in Florida we don't get much of a "fall" season ... we hope and pray for cooler weather but are grateful for a simple drop in humidity!!! Decorations help with the celebration, but even picking pumpkins have to wait until the last minute or they rot before halloween!! I guess the biggest thing is that we simply become grateful for what we do have - each other!!

We take our big family photo outside in the fall every year. I love all those vivid colors. We pick out pumpkins, go to the orchard and make apple cider, bundle up and drink lots of hot cocoa. Its a great time to do things together.
