Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

One of my favorite fall traditions with the boys is going to get leaves that have fallen and placing them in wax paper and ironing them and then hanging them in the window. IT IS SO MUCH FUN. It amazes me the beautiful compositions that are made!

Growing up it was always a Halloween birthday party for me. I was excited to share that with my daughter as she was due a couple days before Halloween as well. This is her first Halloween coming up as she was five days overdue. We always go to a park with a rake and make large piles of leaves and play for hours. We also go to the pumpkin patch, apple picking. Carmel apples and apple cider. Making scarecrows, painting and carving pumpkins. Our newest tradition with our boys is to make little baskets out of orange solo cups, decorate them, fill them with candy and secretly leave them on the door steps of all their friends.

We hit all the usual spots, pumpkin patches, apple orchards and start off the hot cocoa season. A new tradition we're starting with our 4 year old is taking her around at night in the car to see all the "Halloween Creepies" lit up in the neighborhoods. She loves it, and it takes me back to my own childhood.

Fall is such a short but fabulous season-lots of walks in the park, driving out to the mountains, taking oodles and oodles and photographs, and shopping for sweaters and comfy clothes for the cooler days ahead. Hot coffee, buying a fresh new book to read....ahhh, I could go on and on....

We celebrate by taking long walks in the leaves, and paying attention to the preparations made by the animals that live in our yard. We notice changes in the birds that visit the feeder, the squirrels burying tresaure, the groundhog that lives under the gazebo, and the increasing boldness of the deer, all trying to stock up on nutrition for the winter.

Hi Ali,
What an amazing giveaway! I just love how incredibly generous you are!
We love to celebrate the fall season by going to a farm of some sort...pumpkin patch, hayrides, crafts, etc.... usually a drive up into the mountains to see the fall leaves. Love all the beautiful colors!
Blessings to you and your family.

Picking out a pumpkin with the curliest stem, pumkin spice lattes at Starbucks and every once in awhile getting to wear a sweater. Doesn't get to cool down here in Houston :)

In our home, Fall is personified by hearty soups, various apple desserts, piling together on the sofa to watch Food Network make some yummies.... (everything has to do with food!)

What a great set of goodies! Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year and we do so many things to celebrate. We go to the orchard, fall festivals, decorate the house with pumpkins, acorns and yummy fall scented candles. Being a mom this year has made it even more fun!

Hey Ali,
We always head to the pumpkin patch, go apple picking, and carve pumpkins. I love to bake with pumpkin and apple so we can enjoy some homecooked desserts. Of course we love taking in the fresh cool air, going for walks, and jumping in piles of leaves! Fall is our favorite season!

Soccer games with large coffee in hand, apple picking with highschool buddies and all our kiddies, contests to find the largest leaf while playing at the park, switching over to flannel sheets and deciding on Halloween costumes.

We celebrate fall in many ways. My favorite is our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. This year we went to a new patch with Grandma and Grandpa and it was so fun. We also enjoy decorating the house with fun (not scary) Halloween decorations and getting together out costumes. We love fall!

Lots of hikes, raking leaves, pulling out the sweaters and gloves for playing outside, and baking.
