Go Vote. Today is a very big day here in the US. As many of you know, politics/government is a pretty big daily part of
life in my house. My husband, Chris, is unopposed in his seat in the Oregon
Legislature this time around which has made for quite a different
season than a couple years back when things were sovery crazy right up until the last minute.
No matter who you are supporting this is your chance to have your voice heard.
I will be celebrating my 33rd birthday today as we watch and wait just a little bit longer.

Thanks for sharing some of the Week in the Life albums. What fun to see all the different approaches that people take. So motivating... and inspiring. Love, love, love the hand stitching in the first shared album. I'll be embroidering on a page before the week is out.

Happy birthday, Ali! You share your birthday with my younger son who's 31 today -- eek -- you could be my daughter which must mean I'm getting old! I loved looking at all the Week in the Life albums on your blog, and it underscored again for me just how much creativity there is out there. I thought the same thing last night when I was browsing the DD gallery. Blew me away! Anyway, I've voted although I'm not hopeful my guy will win. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday, Ali! Thank you for all the inspiration and samples. I just got my cover yesterday to start my December book; so excited about my first scrapping adventure/project. On my way to go walk to my polling place; it's stormy here, and I love walking in the rain. I remember Chris' election (I lived in Eugene until a year ago). Glad that this year is calmer for him. Enjoy your day, whatever you might do!

I'm just finishing up my week in the life. A bit late but I actually stuck with it! Got a ton of pics and now I just have to figure out how I want to assemble everything. :-) It was so much fun and even my camera-shy husband got into it!
