(I always say this is an unfair question for a music teacher). As a mom, I get a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat when I hear "If I Could" by Barbra Streisand. I looked it up and it's also recorded by Michael Bolton. My daughter was a senior last year and I listened to it alot during that time. You gotta read the lyrics.

I hope this is not a duplicate post cause I could not find mine from earlier. Anyhow, my fav song right now is the ringtone on my phone for my youngest daughter "Baby Love" by the Supremes. It makes me very happy especially since my baby is having a baby in about a month.

So..... my favourite song - too many to chose from, but I guess I'll say something by Neil Diamond (love that guy!!!). "Play Me" is a wonderful song, so I'll pick that as my "favourite for the moment"! Wonderful lyrics, melody, and he sings it so fine!

Right now because of all the internet hype about Susan Boyle, I am all about the Les Miserables song, "I Dreamed a Dream." I loved it when I saw it performed in London, when it was shown on PBS, and now again on YouTube.
