My favorite December tradition is our dinner on Christmas Day. We've been doing it since I was very little. We rotate between our house, and two neighbors houses. We've done it every year and all of us "kids" have grown up together. We've been at eachother's weddings and baby showers. The tradition has now expanded to include our spouses and our kids. I look forward to it every year, even at 34!

A favourite tradition? It is so hard to choose, I love them all. If I have to choose just one it would have to be watching It's A Wonderful Life. As a child, I'd watch it with my grampa and he would always cry at the end. Even though, he is no longer with us, I can watch it and remember what a wonderful person he was. That movie is very special to me and I can't imagine a Christmas without it.

My favorite tradition is driving around and looking at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve. Thanks for the chance!

My favorite Christmas tradition is celebrating Three Kings Day with my husband's Puerto Rican family . . . extending the Christmas season into January makes the joy last so much longer! :)

I love the practice of having an Advent wreath at home. We've done it since our first married Christmas-- I love how it keeps us in a mode of anticipation.

Going to have breakfast with Santa. My husbands work puts it on every year.

with the kids grown, we make a new tradition each year.That is we spend Christmas together somewhere fun. Such as Vegas, NYC, Florida....
We make great memories! I take lots of photos and scrap to my hearts desire.

We love to read 'Twas the night before Christmas' while we all enjoy hot cocoa.

FAVORITE December tradition is unpacking decorations and gushing over each individual piece while waiting for my husband and kids to return home after picking yet another perfect tree despite my pleas for a 'charlie brown tree this year'!

Our favorite December tradition is decorating the outside of the house for the Christmas Holidays. It is fun to take out all the house decorations (some of them are very old and belonged to my in-laws since the time my husband was a little boy. On the front porch we usually do a holiday scene of a Santa's bag spilling over with toys, a small tree and a large Nutcracker soldier. We then place candy canes on the tree for visitors to help themselves.

My favorite tradition...visiting the Festival of Giving Trees and being inspired by all the cool decorated trees and stories behind them (they're donated to help raise funds for cancer research/hospice care). One of these days we hope to win one to bring home!

my newest tradition is my december daily album but my faithful standby is watching all of the holiday classic cartoons with my daughter like my mom did with me. thank you for the giveaways. rhonda

The one tradition I never fail on is filling the handmade advent calendar with chocolate for my two children. This year is my son's first at university so I put pieces of chocolate into envelopes and sent him a
Christmassy carrier of envelopes. My daughter has the whole calendar of pieces of chocolate for herself this year but had assumed I wouldn't have done anything. Whatever was she thinking?

My favorite December tradition is decorating the tree with my family. It is great fun to see the ornaments that we've collected over the years and talk about the memories attached to them.

Every year, my dad and I watch, "It's a wonderful life." It's just a tradition that the two of us do. My siblings have never even seen the entire movie, they just don't appreciate the classics like my dad and me.

One of my favorite traditions is our ROMP (Rotating Overindulgent Moranko Party) It is where on one day we go from family house to family house sharing food and fun at each place. We hae not got to do it in the last year or two due to the ill health of my father in law, but he is doing well and we hope to start it up again!

My favorite Christmas tradition is reading The Jesse Tree together as a family each night after dinner. Then we open our Advent box, take out the candies (one for each person) and read some scripture.

my favorite Christmas tradition is spending Christmas eve (which happens to be my birthday) at my house with my parents, grandmother, aunts and my siblings and their families. a whole lot of food and gifts welcoming Christmas day.
