My favorite December tradition is discussing New Year's Resolutions with family members and friends. My best friends & I get together at a Spa for facial & massage, and my family gets together to discuss our resolutions & what we can do to support each other.

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is making lefsa (a Norweigan treat) with my mom and aunt. It's a time consuming process but the results are worth it! Having lefsa with our Christmas dinner is a must and reminds me of home even though we live 2000 miles away from our families in the Midwest.

I love to pick a day about a week before Christmas, turn on a Christmas movie, make some hot chocolate and wrap ALL of my presents in one sitting....

With three little ones, we are enjoying making our own new traditions. Big plans for an advent calendar to be made, but since we didn't finish it in time, I am printing out cards using your 31 Days Circle Number Set and putting an activity on the inside for the day. Then I just set it on the tree. Then we stick it to a ribbon on the wall and are counting the days until Christmas (instead of taking a link off every day). It also helps that I can make up the activity the night before, depending on the weather and how much time we have to complete it. Also, we just discovered the Elf on the Shelf. My kids come running out of the bedroom each morning excited for what their day might bring (and where their elf is hiding today).
Thanks always for the chance to win!!

I have so many favorite traditions; picking out and decorating a Christmas tree, baking cookies, making ornaments, ice skating, and midnight mass to name a few.

I always look forward to your sponsors and their generosity. Each Christmas/Hanukkah my family select needy family's with children and purchase gifts for everyone and food to help make their holiday complete. It's important for everyone to feel they matter.

My favorite holiday tradition is each member of our family picking out a new ornament. We have a tree dedicated to these ornaments only. It is so much fun recalling years past as we decorate that tree each year.

It is hard to pick a favorite tradition. Right now it is the family activity advent calendar. Everyday we open a box with an activity inside. It forces me to take time to plan simple events for us to do together. The kids love the surprise and the time spent as a family.

When I was growing up, my parents would take me out on Christmas Eve to look at Christmas lights on the houses... I believe it was a trick to get me to fall asleep, but it's always been one of my favorite parts of the season. Now that I have my own family, I am looking forward to starting this tradition with my son (almost 3) this year... as he's really starting to get into the holiday.

My favorite tradition is decorating the tree as a whole family. We aren't all together that much any more, so it is even more special now.

Our favorite December tradition is baking Christmas cookies with my grandma's recipe....of course, they never turn out as good as hers were! Maybe because it one of those recipes that state...a pinch of this, a handful of that!
Thanks for the fun giveaway!

My dad cuts off a ring from the base of the Christmas tree every year and writes the year and our names on it. We have all the rings since my very first Christmas in 1976. They make an awesome display.
