Hope you had a fun weekend. We've revived the new pajamas on Christmas Eve tradition for the "girls" in our growing family. Even though we now live 1000's of miles apart, we'll all open our (matching) pajamas via skype.

Food: the Christmas eve meal, Christmas Day meal.
Decorating: we all do the tree together.
Gifts: picking something very special for each other.
Too many to just pick one favorite. We love it all, always the same, always together.

We have a white ceramic Christmas tree that you add little colored bulbs to and when you turn on the light it glows. I had one as a child and loved setting it up, now my daughter is carrying on the tradition. Thanks so much, Ali!

Our new favorite for the past 3 years is making gingerbread houses. Most of my kids are married and two have little ones of their own. So I use the PamperChef Kit and cook up the gingerbread and then we all get together. E ach one of my children make one with their family or friend and we get to ooh and ahh when we are all done.
We all have such a great time together!

My favorite Christmas tradition was when we would put together a new Christmas jigsaw puzzle each year. Mom & I would set it up about a week or so before Christmas. Everyone that stopped by could try their hand at finding a piece of the puzzle.

Favorite December tradition...baking and delivering goodies to neighbors with my daughter. We get great delight in blessing others....so much fun! This year we have all new neighbors, can't wait!

Our family tradition happens on Christmas Eve morning. I go over to my mom's house with my sister and we make a huge Polish brunch for the family, including kishka and potato pancakes. Afterwards we watch a Christmas Story and look at the scrapbooks we've each made through the year. Such a fun day and something I look forward to all December long!

We are starting a new one - adopting and angel. I am so excited to share the REAL meaning of Christmas by giving.

I love singing "Silent Night" at church with all of the candles in the church lit and no other lights. So beautiful.

We have little advent socks to count down the days to Christmas. In each sock is a fun little note, treasure map or tiny something something for them to get excited about.

Our favorite tradition is our Christmas Eve open house party for friends and family.

My favorite December tradition is giving new pajamas as Christmas Eve gifts :)

We always go to a tree farm and cut down our Christmas tree. Now that the kids are older they get to chop it down...so much fun. We take along hot chocolate and cookies. Good times!

My favorite tradtion is the 12 days of Christmas that we do for soomeone in our community each yer. We decide, as a family, who we will door bell ditch for 12 nights. We leave them treats/presents. We never tell them who we are. It is so much fun & has really taught our boys about giving.
