Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

My word is life. It seems to get busier as the kids get older, and I'm going to choose to not get stressed over the busy, and just go with it! Sometimes I need to remind myself that I worked hard to get the "busy" in my house!

"GO" I joined a gym two months ago. I feel so much better in just those two short months. I want to keep going & going to the gym. Also, apply to other aspects of my life. Go clean out that wreck of the basement, Go visit a shut in, Go off the computer, etc.

My word for the year is Explore...I want to travel more this year and not be afraid to do it on my own. I have always had to have people with me because of fear. My first trip is to travel to North Carolina and spend the week at the beach and just be able to reflect and enjoy who I am. Thank you for your daily inspiration. I would love to win.

My word for 2010 is GRATITUDE and I have started writing one sentence each morning about something I am grateful for. I have also just finished creating a frame with my little word and hung it on the wall. Very inspiring!

I am striving to get fit both in body and mind and hope this will be demonstrated in an improvement in my mental health which has taken a beating over the past decade. I am taking the Wellness journey class at BIG PICTURE and so far I loving what I reading and doing. One of my aims is also to show my wellness through my scrapbooking and also my faith as I strive to ''walk the walk'' with God,

I am not sure of a word yet, but I am starting the year with a closer attention to budgeting and being aware of the money I spend.

This year I am resolved to slow down, enjoy more, stress less, and embrace every experience. So everyday I end my day with some time to reflect on what that day brought and what I want to remember about that day. A new journal is helping me to record these days.

My word is excellence, so today I will make more excellent choices concerning my time, my food, and my work and play. Every time I'm tempted to put that piece of junk food in my mouth or spend more time on the computer than I should I am asking myself if this is the more excellent choice and am I striving for excellence in that particular activity.

The word I chose for 2010 is "Right". The first item on my list to set to Right is my relationship with my Mother. It went through some trials and tribulations in 2009 that need to be amended, forgiven, and learned from.

My word this year is "forward" ... moving forward. Not being encumbered with the past, mistakes I've made, regrets. Being thankful for the good memories (and taking time to document them this year!) and looking ahead to a new season of growth and laughter and LIFE.

My little word for 2010 is challenge. We plan to change our life by moving across the whole country (which has been always our dream) and it means starting from almost square one at the new place again.
It will be a huge change and a lot of challenges for our family and I don't want to be afraid to face them. That's why I chose this word.
Thank you for inspiring me, Ali!

My word is LIVE! Live every day and do SOMETHING! Read, cook, scrap, take a photo, just keep learning and doing something. Don't waste my day away. Life is short and I am turning 42 and I am seeing that it is going by very fast.
Thank you Ali for all of your hard work that you put into your blog and really blessing us with your stories and your life.

Accomplish - being a stay at home mom, I often feel as if I haven't accomplished anything in a day. My goal with this word is to appreciate the small, everyday accomplishments that happen when you are raising great kids, and to end each day with a blog post about what I feel I was able to accomplish, and what I hope to accomplish the following day. It might simply be 'survived' but I'm hoping for more!

I hope it's still okay to mulling over my word! Last year it took me awhile too, but ended up being clear and a beautiful inspiration for the year (enjoy). I can't wait to discover (or be found by!) this year's word!

My word for the year is JOY. I want to find joy in little things, and make my own joy. I want to focus less on the negative and more on the positive, and really make my own happiness. One action I'm taking so far is to slow down and enjoy my son and all the little things he says and does... without the constant hustle and bustle of trying to get things done.
