It always seems to be that way no matter how hard we try to make things different and try other ways to combat the mess! Let me know if you find a solution to the problem

Um, yes. I can relate. I have enough room for one LO, the rest is filled with tools, iPod, stuff I haven't put away, inspiration, stuff I haven't figured out what to do with, and just stuff! I love my space, anyway, though.

Welcome to the desk (and life) of an artist. Mine looks exactly the same most days. (-: But hubby has promised to either purchase or build me a larger desk. I haven't got the heart to tell him it will still end up in the same mess. (-:

yes yes yes.... thank goodness I'm not the only one... I know it's bad when I can't find my adhesive... then I walk out of the room... get something to drink... come back... and begin cleaning it up... so it can start all over again... oh the joys of scraping... and yet the oh not so joyful clean up to begin again... thanks for sharing this... it really helped me not feel so bad about my desk... thank you thank you thank you!!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh my goodness. I am so glad to see that work surface look like that. I am always torturing myself wondering how all you 'professional' artists keep it all organized and all in place.. Now I can 'exhale' .. I end up alot of time having my work surface covered with supplies and moving over to a desk area to actually 'work' Thank you for making my day

As my Michael would say, "why do you need a craft room, when you have a craft house?" Yes, I can relate!

What space...I always seem to fill up my space so fast! I hope your spring break was GREAT! Quick question, if I wanted to share a photo to show you how I used your fab sweet baby stamps in a baby album gift, how could I attach/send a photo? Short reply would be appreciated....thanks. I can be reached at facebook or via home email at leeharkermd@aol.com

Same story in my craft room. I have an 8' x 3' work space and actually craft in 1 square foot of space. I want to know what the 'real story' is behind those fabulous studios in magazine articles. Are those Stepford Scrappers or what?

Always. It makes me laugh when women complain about small work spaces at crops. I know 99% of us work in spaces just like yours.

BLESS you for sharing this photo. I feel SOOO much better - same thing always happens to me and I work on top of a pile to finish my card, LO whatever. I had NOOOO idea a talented lady like you could have that in common with me. What can I say - you made my day. In future I will say to my DH - "Ali E and I are not messy - we are creative..." LOL
