Without a doubt I so get this. I also have a really bad habit of working on my lap. I have an entire all with counter space and a HUGE workstation/island and I still end up in one bunched up spot.

I have exactly the same problem. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday! I have a dining room table in my studio and it's full of random stuff, that needs to be put away so I was mocking up these little cards in one square foot of corner space!

At least you have a corner! HA! I actually had to get a SMALLER desk because I just made TOO much of a mess on a large one. Mine is about the same size as yours now and I love it! Well, at least when I can see it! LOL!

I can TOTALLY relate to this. I stack up all of the things that I'm using or want to use on a page, and then I get out the Wishblade and cut something, and then I'm usually snacking on something, and then there's the fact that I scrap on the same desk as my iMac and the keyboard and mouse have to share my crafting space. I end up barely having room for my pages!

Looks just like my sewing/craft/school table- I just keep piling up and pushing aside to make room for the next thing!

I have the same problem because I want everything within sight and/or within easy reach.

yup, because we all want to have complete access to everything, and enjoy pretty much the process of digging things out creatively/intuitively.

It's hard to be creative when everything is put away! I can definitely relate :o) I even want to give this photo to my hubby so he can see I'm not alone!

Yes! I can't seem to keep my desk clean at all. And yours looks a lot like mine. I love that beautiful wood. Really wish that I could make myself stop covering it up.

Well, my working places look similar - never enough space. My desk keeps getting bigger and bigger and I still have not more room XD

Amen, sister! I have a craft room that lately was so messy I had to work at the kitchen table. My family looked at me like I was crazy!

Looks just like mine. Thanks for starting this discussion so I can see that I'm not the only one that does this.

I have a studio space the size of a bedroom, complete with walk in closet. I can barely walk in the room, let alone the closet. I'm currently sorting and purging - my LSS is having a garage sale next month and what doesn't sell there will go to the children's hospital for arts and crafts.
