So glad not to be alone! Sometimes it's daunting to even want to START a project because you have to wade through the mess first! I always promise myself that next time...

Doesn't matter if I am cropping or doing my real job, the amount of space I have to actively work in gets very small!

all i have is my kitchen table. it's big, but I too end up working in a 16x16 space, just enough to surround my LO with tons of junk

I have no corner left--I end up on the floor, and even that space is nonexistent right now!

Kris - you hit it right on the head for me! I do the same thing!

Yes, I can definitely relate. I try to be good about putting my supplies back, but it doesn't always happen.

lol, definitely happens on my smaller table! I thought it might be only me, but I see the same situation happens to everyone!

Oh yes. I start with a clean table and no matter how I try to put away as I go i end up working on a piece that is barely card size - which is really bad if I'm making a page and worse if it's a double.

ALWAYS! right now I am in "Spring Purge" mode though, so for this week it looks pretty good, but as I will be prepping 8 classes for an upcoming crop in 7 weeks...things will change dramatically I am sure:-)

The larger my workspace, the tinyer space that I end up working in --- I totally get it!

I can't scrap with stuff all over. Happens everytime, even when I put stuff away as I go.

All too well can I relate! It doesn't matter how much i clean things off, it quickly becomes only a tiny little area to create! Glad I'm not the only one!!

a messy desk is a sign of a creative mind! my table has two sides and they are both messy! what does that mean?

Ah, the best work is done in a 2 x 2 square, I've always said. : )

TOTALLY!! And usually I am working on top of stuff. And I always forget to cap my glue! Heellooo...Far too busy creating to keep things cleaned and organized :-)

Thank God I'm not the only one! I have a 10-ft. table and I rarely have enough space for a 12x24 layout on it!!

Seriously! I always joke that no matter how much room I start with, I somehow manage to scrap myself into a 13x13 square, just big enough to house the layout and with all my "stuff" piled around me. Never fails.
