I Want To Remember

How very sweet...with several nieces with daughters under 3 I am now being able to document the girly aspect of scrapbooking and I'm loving it and your ideas! Thanks for the inspiration...

YOu are so good about writing things. I wish I could do this. For some reason my mind seems to just go blank or everything comes out stiff and boring. I love reading about your kids and your family. m the pictures are always great too.

My Anna is 20-months and has an 8-year old brother and their relationship is similar to your Anna and Simon, I think. My Anna is doing a lot of the same things as yours, in fact, I could probably almost copy your journaling and use it - especially the rough and tumble, the legos, and the delight with the arms swinging, and the snuggling when unsure, and the wrestling and love with her brother. I wish I could remember it all. It makes me tear up just thinking about it!

How wonderful! My baby's turning 15 months this week and I already started making a list like this for a layout! Thanks for the great inspiration!

Oh Ali-good for doing this. My last child is graduating from High School in twelve days. By August all three will be off/back to college. I sometimes wish I would have written down just those types of words.
These written memories will be a balm to your soul someday...ummmmm.

I wish I had taken the time to write lists like this when my girls were little! I wish I had thought to do that! Beautiful! Touching! Brings back memories! :) She's so adorable!

My 2 year old does the same "mmmmmm" sounds - and has done so since the first bite of solid food. I love it! In fact I made a scrapbook page to remember. :) Thanks for sharing and reminding how little things like this may not always be remembered, so I need to make more pages about things like these instead of birthday parties and Christmas presents!

I am so glad I stumbled upon this post. Lovely lovely words. I'm not a mother yet, but am a daughter missing a mother, and I've just yesterday written about that point of view - so to read something so poignant about what a mom sees in her little one is so very heartwarming. Your daughter is sure to cherish these words.
