This weekend I am having a long awaited girls night with my friends.

I finished up my college semester yesterday...today I'm doing nothing!

My husband and I will be attending a Juvenile Diabetes benefit at the National Building Museaum which currently exhibits a Lego Architecture exhibit. Looking forward to seeing the awesomeness!http://www.nbm.org/exhibitions-collections/exhibitions/lego-architecture.html

oh these are so fun, would be great for doing a december daily again, it's been a couple of years. this weekend we are celebrating my mother-in-laws b-day by going out to a 50's grill! have a good one yourself ;)

We are closing up some aspects of our "farm". It is bittersweet to close down the pond for the winter, but fun to pull on the waders and muck around like a kid! Sunday we are going to a local Halloween Spooktacular. Scarecrow festival and getting the most out of those costumes!

I'm headed to IKEA to look for a new toddler bed. And whatever else that happens to fall into my cart. :)

Oh my goodness.....that is beautiful!

Unfortunately I won't be having a fun weekend. We have a wake and funeral for our friends' 1 year old son. Then on Sunday, we have a remembrance ceremony to attend to remember all the heart babies who passed away this past year. It will be the one year anniversary of our daughter's passing next week.

I will be taking my 4 1/2 year old daughter to her first play - Bartholomew and the 500 Hats - at our Children's Theater. So VERY exited for this!

last night my high school boys won their football game to put them in the state playoffs ! Tonight we will be going to the haunted trail our town puts on ..with spooky scenes in the woods ..rally fun !
