Something fun this weekend? I'm cooking up a storm! My 'happy place' is in my kitchen, and the pumpkin chocolate chip bread is already in the oven...followed shortly by spagthetti pie, and then chicken stew for the rest of the week.

This weekend I'm working on getting the seasonal clothing switched over. Not "fun" but exciting in that it means cooler weather, and the holidays right around the corner. My favorite time of the year!!!!

DH and I took our granddaughter to the lake and enjoyed the wonderful fall weather here.

We had our first "Raclette" it's melting cheese with potatoes and lots of other yummi things to eat with... this is a tipical Swiss food!

Friday we watched 2 soccer games at my husbands college alma mater, Trinity University - both our men and women won! Saturday night my Mom came down from Dallas and we went to the high school game and she got to watch our oldest dance with her JV dance team - and we won!!! Today is NFL and shopping!

I took my daughter and her friend to a Tea Party preview for our dance studio's Coppelia ballet. It was so fun to watch our dancer friends and eat yummy treats. We felt so sophisticated :)

Shopping for Halloween costumes and supplies. My family loves Halloween!

We watched a bit of the Columbus marathon and then headed out to a flea market to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday!! (the flea market was her choice!)

We're going to see a movie.

I will be going to a soccer game for 5yr olds,then my 17yr old cross country meet.

My husband and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary and are still going strong. It doesn't seem like it has been that long at all!

We're having a birthday party for my 77 year old young grandma:)

We just finished carving 5 pumpkins (1 per family member) and now I'm in the scrapbook room pulling out stuff to make Christmas Cards for my elderly aunt to give away. But first, I'm going to play with my new leaves stamps I just got on sale @ joann's.
