I've been cleaning up my vegetable and flower gardens for the winter...love the feeling of "putting it to rest" and the anticipation of what will come up in the Spring!

I'm flying home, which is fun because I get to spend 8 hours with my husband without too many interuptions. Always a good thing!

With the weather finally getting cooler here, I was inspired to crochet an afghan Garnet Hill was selling for $198!! I gathered all of my leftover yarn and curled up with some netflix movies and have been crocheting away....

This weekend we took the kids to see Toy Story 3 at the dollar theater, followed by a BBQ with friends.

I went to a Bazaar and got some of my Christmas shopping done!

We are halfing plants so they look better next spring, watching some college hockey here in town, and making pumpkin bars!

I spent the weekend away with girlfriends at a scrapbooking retreat. We also celebrated my birthday which is on the 20th !!! we had a FANTASTIC time - no better way to spend some qulity time with good friends - so good for the soul !!!

This weekend I've been to a wonderful fall craft festival - it's one of my favorite weekends of each year! This giveaway put a big huge smile on my face!!

What an exciting kit. I am spending the weekend with a great group of scrapbooking friends. Catching up on scrapping, visiting and of course munching on yummy snacks.

My husband and I are watching Annie Hall after the kids are in bed tonight. It's the perfect movie to watch on a cozy fall evening.

I got to go tailgate with my boyfriend then watch the UW Huskies win vs. OSU (don't hate!!) then the Seahawks won today, too! :)

This weekend was my son's first homecoming. I was fortunate to be the mom who got to do the driving to dinner and then to the dance. Couldn't have found a better way to spend a Saturday night.

My daughter and I are going shopping for boots! Thanks for the chance to win some great treats.

This was a weekend of volunteer work, which brought unexpected fun in watching how positively the high school kids responded to the opportunity to work with adults who put trust in them to be responsible and contribute to the community.

This weekend my daughter (5 months) and I went to her Dads softball game and got lots of cute pictures for the next page in her baby scrapbook! Can't wait for the holiday's this always means extra craft time! :)
