One of our son's would stay up past bedtime lurking around the house, when he was around five or six. As we would lock up and head to bed we would find things stacked in the fridge in nice towers, stuffed animals lined up at the top of the stairs to greet us, and a line of toys headed to our bed room. (This was a weekly occurrence.)Of course, I always regretted not having had a camera at the time to capture it! Thanks for sharing. Brings back sweet memories.
My son is almost 15 now and taller than his dad....sign, the time flies. But I have pics from a weekend my son spend with my parents. He say my old metal dollhouse, complete with little plastic furniture in my mom's storage room. He wanted to play with it. Of course, he used Army guys and aliens for an battle to save the planet! The next day, after I had picked him up, my mom was cleaning up the carnage and couldn't find the plastic furniture. Later that day, she went to the bathroom. The littel plastic vanity was on the floor against the baseboards. She checked the kitchen and the little table and chairs were on the floor against the baseboards....and on for all the furniture in the house. She took pics. Thanks for sharing your family. It makes me think about my son at that age. Cherish it.
Isn't this one of the best parts of life? My house looks just like this. My boys love to see the photos that people like you and Cathy Z. post of your sons' lego creations. In fact, they'll ask if there are any pictures from those "lego kids."

I remember you doing 'Simon Was Here' so long ago, when he was just a little guy - happy to see it again - so cool.

Hi Ali -
Makes you just want to hug and kiss him, doesn't it? LOL! Precious little moments.

Sweet. My son leaves similar lines of his presence in our home --- usually in the form of Bakugan balls or cars.

I just love that.
MY son is 37 and he is still fascinated by Star Wars & Eddie Van Halen. Boys are boys all their lives in many ways.

I often find Playmobil guys and gals standing in the oddest places. My daughter has quite an imagination!

I'm always finding "trinkets" on my bedside table. I hope they NEVER outgrow this!
