It's hard to pick just one thing I love the most about the holidays but if I had to I would pick the traditions we are passing on to our children. Family traditions are important to us and we hope to instill in our children the love of these traditions so they will eventually pass them on to their own children.

I look forward most to spending time with my family, especially my husband. This year is hard because he won't be here because he is deployed. This will be our third Christmas apart. Our daughter is really missing daddy, and I know it will only get worse with the holidays fast approaching.

I usually love the holidays. It is a time to reconnect with family and friends. I'm a bit melancholy about the holidays this year. For the first time in 28 years, neither of my girls will be home and I'm just not getting into the holiday spirit as much as usual. Both have good reasons for not making it home, but I will still miss them terribly.

OH, come on guys! I look forward to creating my December Daily, of course! It give me a glimpse back (even if it's notcomplete) at moments gone by that maybe I was too busy to stop and really enjoy. It brings that feeling back. Love it!

I look forward to time with my family, my husband and kids where we can sit and relax and enjoy each others company, without the calls from work or running around of the everyday. Just quiet time together where we can actually talk, laugh and play games.

I look forward to enjoying the holiday--I work for a retailer and even though it has been 15 years since I have actually worked in the store, every year I appreciate having my weekends off. Be sure to be patient and polite with those who work in stores... they appreciates a little slack this time of year!
