I always look forward to the two weeks vacation time that I save for Christmas every year! More time to spend with friends and family. Time to relax, and peace of mind knowing that I don't have to rush through the season without taking time to reflect what it really is all about.

I admit, it is the food. Don't get me wrong, I love my family...but they are easier to handle with all the good food! Helps me keep my mouth shut when I need to do so!LOL!

I most look forward to spending time with the people I love most, and giving them all presents... I seriously like giving presents more than I like recieving them because I spend so much time trying to come up with the perfect presents for people, and love seeing their face when they are opened

I look forward to reading favorite Christmas/Winter themed books with my boys. My oldest reads independently now, and I love returning to our old before bed habit of snuggling with a book.
Excited to hear about Elle's Studio being available at JS's store!

I am most looking forward to our drive to Montana from Bellevue Wa to see my parents. Snowy roads, warm mochas, Zips
Drive in as we hit Eastern Wa, and lots of time to talk and sing. Seems silly that I look forward to 9 hours in the car, but I do!

I'm looking forward to making my first December Daily album. I already see the benefits as I am forced to sit down and make a list of all the special moments I want to include. This list will now make sure that 1. These moments happen and 2. I remember to document and capture them! In the past I've finished the Christmas season and have forgotten to do half the wonderful plans I had and I forgot to take pictures of the few that we did. I'm also having my three kids make their own mini DD albums to get them in on the tradition!

I look forward to our family traditions. One of our favorite traditions these past several years has been to send goodies wrapped in a Santa hat to 5 military members serving overseas (one for each member in our family). Two of my brothers are marines and will be deployed over the holidays. We send them care packages regularly, but most soldiers never receive anything from home. I think that is so sad, so we send them just a little something to show them how much we appreciate their sacrafice. This has become one of our girls favorite traditions and this year it will have special meaning as we send an extra two.
