GIVEAWAY | Three people will receive spots in Mary Ann Moss's online class Remains Of The Day.
Remains Of The Day is the antidote for all of those paper scraps that keep multiplying in your favorite scrap box and clogging up your artistic super highway. In this process AND project oriented class we’ll be constructing a shabby but sturdy journal (like this one) using all of that paper you’ve been hoarding. Ordinary life never looked better than seen through the pages of this stitched up journal of scraps.

My best tip? One room (or one cabinet in one room!) at a time. It can be so overwhelming if you try to tackle the entire project at once!

ANother vote for open windows and vinegar. I actually try to deep clean one room monthly all year long so that spring cleaning is not overwhelming

Don't dump out an entire closet unless you know you have time to finish it :0.

I teach school and spring time is CRAZY. My spring cleaning tip is to wait until summer vacation to do it :-)

My favorite Spring cleaning tip is to open windows and let the house "air out." Nothing like fresh air to let you know that Spring is here.

My spring cleaning tip is one room at a time--haven't used it, give it away! It's very hard for me to get rid of stuff so if
I get stuck, my dh pitches in and helps. Love the journal!
Thank you for the chance to win!

I have to percolate on it a bit- noticing the trouble spots and getting myself psyched for it! I have been looking at the dust on my counters and scattered jewelry on my dresser- so I think I'll start in my bedroom since those are the 2 things that jump out at me.

I just cleaned my windows (use a squeege, one horizontal pass at top to stop drips). I can't believe how much better I can see the plants in the backyard. Makes me so happy!

I use vinegar and water to clean windows. Wear gloves and wipe with old newspaper. Cheap, no chemicals, and works great. I also put vinegar and a little water in a spray bottle for the floor and baseboards. Ants leave a trail for their friends to follow, and vinegar erases that. Ants also hate the smell. It may not be lemon- but I can open the windows and smell the country air while I am doind it.

wow, this class looks COOL! MY Spring cleaning tip? If you are cleaning out your supplies, stash, etc....donate it to a local school, to the ART TEACHER {like me}...we REALLY appreciate those types of things, especially with all these budget crunches..trying to come up with enough supplies for 800 students can be challenging, to say the least....Thanks for the giveaway!

Was just thinking of the cleaning because the shower stall needs major work. I like to open windows and air everything out. I find it "disinfects" the winter crud best.

The best start to spring cleaning is opening all the windows and letting the fresh air pour in. That's so invigorating it helps me get in the mood to start - one room at a time.
