Aside from the cards my daughter makes me, I love the letter or card my husband gives me. They are always so heartfelt, which isn't something he always does.

I will end up sounding like my own mother, but what I always want for Mother's Day is for the kids to be nice to each other and to me. With four boys and a girl, when there is peace and harmony in my home, that's a true gift.

A gift certificate to our local greenhouse. I use it to plant my pots for our front porch....lot's of color and mostly impatiens! Also, my very best gift(s) are the homemade cards and little things the kids make for me!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

I told my kids and grandkids (and my husband) several years ago to please not buy me anything for my birthday or for Mother's Day. So now they just wait on me hand and foot all day and make cute little cards and write sweet letters. I always feel very pampered.
