I love to receive the framed photos (of my kids) that our childrens' organization in the church sometimes organizes.

My favorite thing was, of course, my first Mother's Day - being a mommy for the first time. A few years ago, my son and his wife gave me a card on which they each wrote wonderful personal things that they appreciated about me. Sigh. It was the best. I love to give something a little personal, like a love letter or a special little photo album to my Mom. :)

My kiddos are still little so the best Mother's Day present my husband can give me is a day to scrapbook with friends.

My favorite thing to receive is time...with my kids & husband, & with my Mom who has early-onset Alzheimers and my Dad who takes care of her.

i give my mother a hanging geranium basket every year for mother's day. she LOVES it and looks forward to it every year - and it brightens her front porch all summer.

Anything from the kids is great, handmade card or craft or else. One year, my son gave me the ugliest earrings ever but he had paid with his own money. I still wear them every so often. Needless to say that I get more then a few strange looks!!!

The favorite gift I like to receive is just the blesssing of spending time not only with only little family, but also my mom and my sister and her family. This includes time together and a home-cooked meal - hopefully at my mom's:)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and dropping not so subtle hints (ya know what would be really nice for mother's day honey?) for a photo printer. But anything featuring my kids and their hand/footprints and drawing is a homerun. :)

My favorite thing to give for mother's day is little photo mini books to the grandma's. They're always excited to get updated pictures in a cute little book.

My favortite thing to get is anything handmade by my kiddos. Although I've been wanting a Lisa Leonard necklace for such a long time and with baby number three on it's way it would be the perfect gift from the husband this year.

My husband and son usually make breakfast for me on Mother's Day and I get to eat in bed. I love that.

my favorite thing i rec'd was a coffee cup that said "greatest mom." it was my first mother's day. that cup means the world to me!

My favorite thing to get from my girls are handmade cards and a day where I don't have to "referee" ! My favorite thing to give my mom is plants to plant in her garden and enjoy all year long!

my favorite thing that i have given my mom for mother's day was a shutterfly book of pictures from her 50th b-day trip to california. she loved it!

Time together...everything else is icing!

I like to have a couple close friends over and take care of dinner. why cook on mother's day? they are moms too!! seeing them happy makes me happy :)
