The best gift I ever got was a Starbucks and a magazine. Simple but just right. However, that was really from DH. This year's PERFECT gift from the 4yr old was a squashed cake ( which "had to be shared" ) a bunch of daffs from the garden and a homemade card. I loved it all !

My favorite gift for Mother's Day is time to relax... with my family, to scrapbook, or to watch a favorite movie together.

My most meaningful gift I gave to my mother was a letter. I had written it for the mom contest that Regis and Kelly have on their tv show each year. I truly thought my mom deserved the recognition after all she had been through. She didn't win :( but I gave her the letter in an old, wooden box that she treasured for years. She passed away at a young age from melanoma last summer so this will be my first mother's day without her. The box still sits on her fireplace mantle so I may need to revisit that this mother's day in her honor. Thank you for sponsoring this meaningful giveaway.

My favorite thing to receive is my family all together
at church on Sunday morning. Then breakfast or lunch out after. Our extended families live elsewhere so its just the 5 of us, still. It's a beautiful thing, though.

My children make me breakfast in bed every Mothers Day and it's always soo special! As a single Mom, I used to help them by setting out donut holes or something easy when they were little ones... Now that they are 10 years old, their breakfast is more creative. Last year it was granola with milk, fresh cut up fruit, and a glass of juice...

Wow great giveaways! Thanks so much Ali. My Mother's Day treat is to get to spend time in my yard planting my annuals and then sharing time with my mom and my 3 children.

For mother's day, I just love taking the day off... Allowing myself "no work, all play", letting my husband take care of the little things for the kids and relaxing! :)that day is always such a gift!

im not a mom yet...unless you count my dog, gizmo and cat, baby.
The best thing that I could give my mom is my time. She always wants me to come by on the weekends and spend time with her, be it shopping (specifically at craft stores) or scrapbooking, which is a hobby we both share. We go picture taking to different parts of our state together and it is really a lot of fun, not just for her but for me too.

Since my son is just three and my daughter two months old, I've yet to have a real, child inspired mother's day. I'm hoping for something awesome, like on my birthday in January when my son said to me "Mommy, you're my best girl." Something heartmelting like that. :)

My favorite thing to receive on Mother's Day is handmade gifts and cards from my boys. Breakfast in bed isn't bad either. :) Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite things to recieve on Mother's Day has always been the things that were so important to my babaies at the time. My son is now almost 11, until he was six, I would get rocks, he would spent hours searching for the perfect rocks for me, because they were just the coolest things to him. I also have a huge collection of handpainted items from my now 22 year old and several decorated pillowcases from my now 17 year old. Now they bring me these things even though they have outgrown it, but I just haven't yet.

I like to give small photo albums for Mother's Day, and I like getting the whole family together for a celebratory Mother's Day buffet at a special restaurant.

Spending time with my family is the best mother's day gift ever. Sometimes we stay home and play games all day, sometimes its a planned adventure, whatever the day holds, I hope that it's always with my family!

I don't think I have a favorite gift (as far as the material things) but I love that look my 3 yr old son gets soo excited to give something even it is just a scrap of paper he scribbled on. The look on his face as he is giving it to me is what makes me happy!
