Cranberry cake with rich butter sauce... it used to be just for the adults and my mom wasn't sure why... but now the kids get to enjoy it too.

There are so many favorites, but, by far, it has to be my grandmother's red velvet cake! Although she has been gone 5 years, her recipe carries on and always brings wonderful memories of her!
What a great give-a-way - love scrapbook.com!

Mmmmmm Christmas food, love it all. But my favorite is duck. So much more yummy than a boring, tasteless turkey.

My favorite thing to eat are Pralines. My mother and I attended a cooking class over 35 years ago about this new thing: microwave cooking. Imagine that! LOL! Anyway they passed out a recipe book including the recipe for making Pralines in the microwave. It became my family's favorite candy. My Mom passed away shortly after that so I have very fond memories of her whenever I make these candies. One of my DILs has asked me to teach her how to make them and I am going over this morning to do so. Another memory in the making!

It's so hard to pick one favorite one. Though if I really had to choose it would have to be pecan butter snow cookies. It is a family tradition to have them during this time of the year and it is definitely my favorite holiday treat.
