My favorite thing to eat during the holidays would have to be tamales. Every year we make them for Christmas. Now that I am older with a family of my own, I can make them how I want to (without olives and raisins). Lol.

It is just not Christmas around our house without my dad's salty country ham. He has it all prepared so Christmas morning we are having salty ham biscuits and then we pick it all day. Then of course there are the left overs for ham sandwiches. It the greatest!!
