I'm a Finnish person living in Canada so anything Finnish means even more to me now. Prune star pastries, pearl rice porridge with cinnamon and sugar, Karelian pies, rutabaga casserole... My favorite Canadian treat is Nanaimo bars. I love the word nanaimo. :)

Since I'm stuffing my face with mini Dove chocolates that I received from a coworker, I guess I should say chocolate! But my friend turned me on to this really great cranberry relish appetizer dish that I love to make (and eat!) during the holidays. Yum!

my favorite thing to eat during the holidays would have to be double chocolate brownies with peppermint icing. I am diabetic, so I can't eat a lot of them, but I sure love them! lol
