Finally.

I did it. I worked out again. And man, it feels so good. Always when I am done...just so hard to get motivated to go. But I need it...need to take some care of my body :). Just need to make it a part of my day.


I was inspired today, as I ran and walked on the treadmill, reading Outside magazine. Reminded me how much I am inside. Made me want to taste the fresh air more. That free feeling. I think I may get a subscription just for the inspiration and potential motivation. Made me want to ski. And then I remembered that I always feel like I want to go skiing...and when we get up there I am not so excited to be so cold...and I feel out of shape (vicious cycle isn't it?) and only want to ski halfday.


The answer, I assume, is that I need to workout so that I am in better shape so that when I go skiing I can actaully enjoy it rather than feeling so tired. I don't want to have that sluggish tired feeling either on the slopes or down here in the valley. I want to feel good about myself and strong and healty. So I sit here drinking my water. Going to eat some fruit for a snack.
