To do.
Tags:I am a list maker. I like lists. Seeing the things I need to do. Crossing them off (with a sense of accomplishment) when I am done. Adding more. My lists are handwritten and I often use colored pens to cross off the items I have completed. Usually I draw a little box next to the item...and put an "X" there when I am done. So much a part of my personality.
Working this morning. Thinking about working out later on. NEED TO DO THIS.
Feeling like I want to just wrap myself up in a quilt and read all day.

First: I am so totally there with you. I love lists. There is such happiness crossing things off the list. I have even been known to write things on my list I’ve already finished just so I can cross them off! Haven’t ever tried the little boxes, I just might have to branch out.
Second: I hope you won’t think I am a crazy stalker; I just adore your work. I found your journal by way of your www.aliedwardsdesign.com website. And was thrilled to have more ali inspiration! It makes a smile. So thanks, for the inspiration and for continuing to share yourself and your ideas with me (about 2000 miles away in Tennessee). You may never know how many people you inspire. I hope you just take this as encouragement to keep on keeping on!
Thanks-
Amanda Mankin

Ali,
You come by the list making thru the generations...Grandma Cathy was a great list maker, even to the point of having the list of chores for all the family posted by the kitchen door. I think she learned a lot of the organization of list making thru the OSU Country Extension. She used to teach other women in Sherman Country about organization, in the Home Extension Clubs that OSU had in the rural areas.
I was thankful for her parenting in that area, because I believe it helps accomplish tasks that might be left in the thought process, unless written down. It's the idea of having goals and attempting to accomplish them. I am proud of the goals that you have accomplished.
Love, Mom
