I was lucky enough to spend a day with Sabrina 2 years ago... spilling in a cottage overlooking San Diego... amazing... heart expanding... I'm so glad you found her books... you'll want them all!

I am lucky enough to have read a few of her things and inspired by her journals as well. Many of my art journal pages reflect influence from her. Let her, Sark, whomever else inspire you...we women need to stick together.

So cool to have moments like that Ali- I love those moments- only had a few of them in my life, but they have been life changing. Her book sounds wonderful and her idea of spilling open is fantastic- reminds me of my highschool art teacher- what an amazing women she was. I also agree with Shawn above, as women we have a different view of the world- an emotional one and we should band together- share together- that's the thing I have loved the most about blogs- they let women share and be open with each other from all over the world- truly cool.

Ali thank you for this link. It inspired me so much that I have ordered it. I don't usually but I just had a feeling that I needed to. Her words that I read here were truly inspiring.

It's kind of cliche to say, but her first book really changed my life. It jump started me back on the creative track that I had tucked away while I was going to college. She's so real and creative.

You know, about two weeks back, I was browsing through all her books at the bookstore. Then earlier this week I saw you posted them on your wishlist. I was surprised, but not surprised. :) They are capitvating. I should definitely pick one up.

i just finished reading this link. What a compelling writer. It's sunday evening pst and I'm usually pulled away from my computer for one reason or another (i'm a mother of 4 - i'm used to it)but by no small coincidence i was meant to check your blog then link to Sabrina and read the link in its entirety. i came away so inspired by this as i think we all connect in some way with her journey. thanks Ali for the link.

that was awesome. i feel such a connection with so much of what she said about being young and everyone telling you it is the best time of your life and feeling like shit and that you must be crazy because you ARENT having the best time.....
