Ali - I was in your first workshop this weekend. Today You.... or Today We (I took the liberty to change the theme to suit my needs). Thank you so much. You really are amazingly talented. And I learned a lot about combinations of patterned paper that are NOT made by the same manufacturer. Great stuff. I went home and almost completed the book. Plan to give (mail) it to my brother and sister-in-law for their anniversary next week. I'll be interested in her response - she's an artist (masters degree in art, I think). I also really wanted to thank you for your comments about Treasury of Memories (aka: TOM). I love that store. They are a family there and I never knew if that was normal/usual or not b/c TOM is the only LSS I've got. Not only are they a family, but they love their customers. They know my name. When I walked in last week, they asked all about my recent trip to Italy. They were SO EXCITED that I was taking a class with you (and one with Tracy). They have created this amazing family in and outside the walls of that store. If I'm having a bad day, I have to go there b/c I know they'll make me feel better - even by simply remembering my name. I, too, wish you lived closer to TOM... imagine the pick-me up they could give you when you're in a creative slump. They always have FRESH NEW ideas. They are always SO EXCITED about new products. I love that store. I love that family. I love being part of that family, even though I don't work there. Thank you, for recognizing a thing of beauty when you see it. And thank you for sharing your own beauty. Your workshop was totally "organic!"
