Tags:Raining and stormy here today. It is actually very nice and refreshing after a couple of really hot days. Days in the 90's. Love the hot but like to have a break now and then. It is actually helping me get down to business after so many days of procrastination and not getting anything done in the studio. Too easy to just step outside and not come back in...
Anyone else find they go through photo-taking phases? I have been out of it for awhile. Chris is always right on it though - thankfully. Last week he took this one of Simon drinking tea from an antique china cup. This will probably remind some of you of the photo I shared in the past of Simon and I eating red popsicles on our white couch. Just some of the silly enjoyments we have around here. He was so very careful and proud of himself.
Took the top photo of Simon this morning. The light was good. He was silly and smiley. Good times.
Also wanted to say thanks again for all the comments on the structure post. They will be ones I will read again when I need another swift kick LOL. And thanks for looking out for me - I am not being too hard on myself - wish you could hear me talk about it so you could hear my sarcasm and tone of voice.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

I love the pic of Simon, tiny hands holding the tea cup. I got such a warm feeling looking at that picture. Little boys are so lovely!

Hi Ali,
My 3 year old son, Cameron, saw Simon's picture on my computer screen and said, "There's my best friend!" He now keeps asking me to see his best friend on the computer, and he wants to know when he's coming over to our house. So if you're ever in Katy, Texas . . . .
:-)

Hi Ali! You boy has the most beautiful eyes! What a charmer! I wanted to give you some hope... I was diagnosed with a mild form of Autism years ago... and its given me some problems. I am not very good talking in person with people, I don't make friends very quickly (basically because my social skills in person are lacking, I tend to be a wall flower) but on a computer, I'm freed. I am very intelligent and very expressive. It only took structure (no I'm not feeding on your last post but it did help), patience and years. Lots of years. I live a normal life, go to school, I'm married and have a great hubby who tolerates my need for all my spices to be in a row... (go figure). Simon will have a normal life because he is SO loved! You are doing great mom! You can see it in HIS face! And you know what? I can't eat a popsicle without getting it on me so he is one up on me! LOLOL

What a cute photo of your son. I have seen lots of pictures of him in your layouts in magazines and on two peas - I think this is my favorite. I have one of my son, Wesley, that looks very similar (with the light from a window shining on him and everything) that is my very favorite.
