Where, oh where...
Tags:could my luggage be? Made it home fine but my clothes and other "stuff" are in some other unknown location. Say a little prayer to the luggage fairies that my bag comes home soon.
Had a lovely time in Orlando. Florida is a happy place. I did not make it to Disney...some other time. But I did get to hang with three other ladies into the wee (seriously wee) hours of the morning just chatting and developing a friendship. Serious life enrichment.
The people in Orlando were great. Totally welcoming, kind and generous. Great students. It was so cool to meet so many of you - thanks for all the nice things you said. And yep, I have a much deeper voice than people imagine. And I am not too shy and quiet either. I would totally go back in Florida in a heartbeat. Even in hurricane season.
And you know what, he heat made me happy. Even the humidity made me happy. But the time change, in conjunction with such a quick turn-around from CHA, made me not so happy. Donna was so disappointed in me. But I think I recovered ok, right D?
Every CKU is so different. And so amazing. To be around 500+ women who share this hobby that is such a huge part of my life is always so inspiring. Seeing grown women get crazy and dress up and laugh and cry and dance is freakin cool.
And as usual, it is wonderful to be home again. To see how tall Simon has grown in five days. To give Chris a kiss. To take a nap. To start checking email. To throw the ball for Lily. To get ready for another tomorrow.

Hate lost luggage. On my honeymoon they sent my only bag (just mine, not dh's) to the wrong cabin and the people kept it the entire week.. even after the ship sent out a letter for a reward if someone returned it.

Hmm, hate to tell you but I flew to South America several years ago ... via Florida ... and never saw my luggage again. Ever.
Hope you have a better outcome! LOL

Hoping the airlines folks deliver your luggage to your front porch soon. That's what always happens here. Course they call at about 3 am to tell us it's coming. @@

Totally crackin up at that picture....
Can understand how all that travel would wipe one out! Guess Donna had been home too much... LOL.
I also had wondered after reading your book and hoping to take a class of yours in the future, how you sound- an actual voice with the face and work. :)
I've been lurking around the CKU albums web page, and knowing I probably can't attend, although wishing I could. {Maybe someday.. yet, there will probably be something else by then- LOL }
But sort of seeing what you and Stacey are doing with those cool Scrapworks albums have still inspired little ole' me to see what I could do with that on my own. :o)
Thanks for posting even when you have plenty to be exhasted and a bit frustrated about.
Praying that God will give you your luggage back,
Deanna
