I do seriously LOVE going to CKU. And tomorrow I leave for another one - this time I am heading to Provo, Utah for CKU-A. So, so fun. Especially this one. There is something just so cool about spending more in-depth time with a group of scrapbookers.

When I am preparing for CKU (or any workshop) I spend time beforehand thinking about the people I will meet. For this event, I feel like I am going to camp - kinda like the den mother or something. Sending them good thoughts. Pre-bonding. Connecting with them cosmically. Yes, I know I am unique. LOL. Being at CKU-A means I get a really GOOD LONG TIME with the same group of women, getting a chance to know them better, to laugh with them, to share my philosophy, to learn from them, to groove with them, and to simply be together in a super-creative environment where we are celebrating our everyday lives.

Dude, I am excited.

So in preparation to leave I had to get some other things done today. The result of my labors: two mini-books, two scrapbook pages, and a tag (now remember, this is my job). One mini-book is a kit for the Two Peas Crop & Sale next weekend in Madison, Wisconsin. I will be there along with a bunch of my Garden Girl buddies. Chilling. Laughing. Hanging out. The other three items are for an upcoming issue of Creating Keepsakes. It felt really good to be creatively productive. Feels like it has been awhile.

In other news, Simon can't seem to keep his clothes on these days. On they go, off they go. And the silly-naked-kid streaks through the yard again.

Chris is enjoying daily tai-chi.

And I am still loving what I do...peace, folks.
