What "does it" for you?

Having the house to myself for the next 2 hours! kid free and husband free!
Wanting to scrap, but can't even find my desk at the moment!
The fact that i just had a M&M cookie ice cream sandwich.....all to myself!
Finding a chick flick on the TV tonight!

Hmm...what gets me going today?
*Taking a nap for the first time in a very long time!
*Hearing my daughter starting to really try to talk
*It's the weekend and I get my husband home all weekend!
*Great produce snacks I bought from the grocery store the other day: raspberries, cherry tomatoes...yummy!
Oh, and those chalk inks get me going EVERY day!! I have a bunch of them! My layout in the current Simple Scrapbooks even used one...

i am actually scrapping tonight. can you believe it?

can you tell i just drank a gallon of coffee? yes, yes i did.

1. New products. I went shopping today and got new BG, Scarpworks and American Crafts.
2. A clean area, I've spent some time today cleaning my scraparea and orgainzing. It makes it so much easier this way.
3. New pictures, well just taking pictures actually. I have a love affair with my camera.
4. Your book. I'm about to open it up again for guideance.
5. The thought of getting soething done. Seeing something you thought of come to life, that's awesome!

Let's see:
-reading your blog
-a great new picture of my son Zach to scrap
-new scrap supplies
-going to look for Heidi Swapp stuff at Target tomorrow
-getting a new CK with Ali in it
-diet coke

COFFEE :)
Getting new stuff in the mail, looking at clothes: seeing the new colors for fall... I'm really digging that nice jewel purple... yum!

- Transitions

A, what's doin' it for me today? Getting positive feedback on a project. Getting packages out in the mail. Fun emails. A happy hubby. I think that'll do me for a bit. :)

for me today it was
knowing that I have 48 hours to play, paint and experiement..gotta love those weekends..can't wait til labor day! 72 hours!

A warm sudsy tub bath with the above....some NagChampa insence...
then to sand an old dresser and remove the old brass to clean..that is my ispiration for the evening and then I should be tired! :)The dare if just a brainstorm of a create idea! Those layouts were just full of self, love character and as sexy as can be! Everyone is sexy for sure and I want to do this..but still can't scrap (room not quite done)grrrr...but..it is on my planner!

Hmm, what a great question! I would say...
- knowing tomorrow I get some "me" time to scrap
- Cooler weather here in SW Washington -- up in the 90's makes us northerners a bit cranky
- On the same note: Good sleepin' weather tonight! Hooray!
- My sweet Emma with her hair in a ponytail, wearing a sundress and her little purple "Dora" backpack
- Sid putting Emma to bed while I relax and watch the trees outside the windows, branches moving in the light wind. The sight of wind in the trees as almost as relaxing as being on the beach. Always a mini-vacation to me.

Fun question! For me, today it has been:
~ Ice Cold Pepsi- such a good pick-me-up!
~ My brown Chatterbox luggage - They're so cool!
~ Lollipop flavored lip gloss from Dessert - makes me feel like kid! LOL
~ Looking forward to a fun weekend with just my husband, my daughters and me!
~ Colorbox Chalk Ink - I know you said this one too. But I can't help it. I'm so addicted to this ink!
~ Basic Grey paper - I can't get enough of their paper this week!
~ making ATCs - so much fun!
~ an hour conversation with my Mom on the phone ~ I just love talking to her!

- the colour red (I think I'm now fresh out of red textured 12x12s
- the smell of left over best friend's wedding candles last night during a power cut
- wine gums
- twins asleep at the same time, and I'm scrapbooking!! Whoohoooo

It's Saturday morning... 6:15 AM.
Coffee, a book on the history of musical theatre, my new scrap room furniture from Target (still in boxes on the living room floor), scrap night tonight with 2 of my granddaughters (12 year olds), waiting for my husband to wake up so we can take a walk together.

I meant to do this yesterday but here it is:
~the prospect of sleeping in on sat and sun mornings. Sleeping in to me = anytime past 5am
~the opportunity of having plenty of time (whether I actually put it to use or not is inconsequential) to create and play.
~looking at my almost-finished-scrap-corner in my den and really wanting to get down to work with my projects
~hoping and wishing that when I open my mailbox this afternoon that there will be the elusive & already-at-my-lss october copy of CK inside.
