A couple visitors.
Tags:Yep, that is a guy leaning out a car window taking my picture.
This afternoon I had a couple visitors over to the house. Brian Tippets, Creating Keepsakes's Art Director, and Skylar the awesome Photographer flew out to take some new photos of me and my studio for the magazine, book, etc. They will be back in the morning to take more family shots before heading back to Salt Lake.
It was a total kick in the pants.
They took some shots on the porch, shots in the window, shots in the studio, shots of Lily, and then Skylar had the idea to take some shots of me riding my bike. You know I was totally game for that one! We headed out - me on my bike, Brian driving the rental car, and Skylar hanging out the window of the passenger seat. We went up and down the block. Me laughing. Sylar telling Brian to slow down. And Chris capturing the antics on our camera.
Looking forward to seeing how those shots turn out LOL - has nothing much to do with scrapbooking but everything to do with LIFE.
Chris captured this one inside our house...and yep, that is me peeking out from behind the circle.
After the guys leave tomorrow I will be heading up to Canada for a couple classes at Photo Express in Maple Ridge. Got all the kits together. Can't wait to see my pals up there and meet some new scrappers. Staying with Rachel the first night and I am so looking forward to seeing her in her new house.

So funny! Skylar does the photography for our Making Memories books too. Funny dude. He and Brian had to come over and take a shot of one of my magnet boards for the article last month-- let me tell you how embarrassing that was! They showed up when my entire space was in utter chaos! UTTER CHAOS. I hadn't even showered or gotten ready either. Uck. I was mortified. lol That goes down as one of my most embarrassing moments.
I ran into Brian at CKU in Provo and couldn't even look him in the eye. lol
I love that photo of you on bike, man! That is great. :)

Steven Curtis Chapman sings a song, called 'Live out Loud' ... I think of that SO often, when I see your photos & read your blog (part-time lurker)! :-) Way to go, gal. Have a goodie up North.
