Welcome to Kansas City! I'm glad you found Urban Arts and Crafts. It is truly a wonderful store. If you get back by there, you might check out a book that I bought there several weeks ago. I don't have the name of it here with me at work. But it was written by Stephanie McAtee and another artist. It is wonderful!!!! I can get you the name if you would like if you don't get back there. I assume you could get it on Amazon.com.
Enjoy the rest of your visit! Hopefully you will also have some time to visit some of our local scrapbook stores. We are getting spoiled in KC.

aww, aren't you cute. and speaking for my hometown on how to see the cute things in a blitz of time -- i'll second a trip to old parkville (same town where k&co is based in a cave! but they have an old style main street that is just adorable) and if the weather is nice, an obligatory walk around the plaza -- great place for pictures with pretty coloured tiles and spanish styled architecture. as if you'd actually get time to explore the place. :P

So HAPPY to have you here in KC. I loved your class today and was so inspiried I found myself looking up and down and all around at color ideas. Found an awesome mag tonight Bargain style, very cool color ideas and layout designs. Looked at it very differently than before. Thank you so much for the wonderful class and you looked too cute in your pigtails today.

Spent last week with you in KC. At a loss for words to describe my first time attending CKU. I was in your Friday class "ABC's of Color" Loved the slide show of how you get your color inspiration. I found myself looking at objects all the way home, and thinking how I can incorporate color schemes into my pages.
