Tags:Just a bunch of things milling around in my mind this morning:
• needing to : exercise, eat better, simplify stuff, address my spending issues again, get some CKU-A stuff together & kits for classes at Art House in Portland
• thankful for : a really great email from my friend Dona, Chris taking control of taking Simon to school & finding afternoon childcare, getting more pages done for my next book (and a little timeline extension)
• obsessing about : Adhesives. Yep. Adhesives. I have picked up a bunch of new ones recently...especially glue sticks. My favorite new one was introduced to me at Photo Express - it is the Square Dual Edge Photo Glue Stick. There is something so "raw" about glue sticks that I am totally into right now...maybe it takes me back to that "playful" attitude of childhood. Picking out images and sticking them down. Hey, that sounds a lot like what I am doing right now.
I also like the packaging on the Tombo Mono Agua Liquid Glue. Have not really tried it yet so I can't tell you about its effectiveness...but I can tell you that I like the packaging...feels good in my hands.
• getting ready : to attend the Oregon Summit this weekend to support my husband...more to come on this one later on...

I love ALL Tombow adhesives! They all work GREAT! Hey the glue in the triangle white with green lids is awesome. It even smells good- like candy! :)

Just today I saw square dual edge photo glue stick in a store and wasn't quite sure if I should buy it, but it sounds like it's a keeper. I'll have to go back. Thanks, Ali.

Hey Ali! I wanted to tell you that I am deeply inspired by your work and spirit. I want to thank you for your links to Keri Smith and Sabrina Ward Harrison. You have opened up so many doors for me. I wanted to share an artist with you that I think you would love: Joseph Cornell. Check his work out. I especially love the Medici Boy and Medici Girl.
Best to you and your family!
Jenn

Another find on your blog: Peace is Evry Step by: Thich Nhat Hanh--truly AMAZING!! It is the perfect blend of eastern philosophy and modern living. I have bought the book many times becuase I keep giving my copies to friends and loved ones. It makes a great gift.
:) Jenn
