Tags:told you I was in the mood today.
Here is what I put together for my Christmas Art Journal cover and first page. I am going to use this as a daily record of the holiday and then use the other one I already put together (with the circles) for the great photos to come...
For the first page I painted a small film reel and attached it using ribbon. Added in some Basic Grey ribbon and some KI accents. The little tree stamp in the bottom will be repeated each day as a way to unite the whole book together.

ali, firstly i just wanted to tell you i was jumping up and down to see you back in the garden-a happy day!!! so good to see your amazing designs. although i haven't signed up for the art journal (pricey for us aussies)you have inspired me to do something of the kind. thankyou for sharing all these goodies with us......

Thanks for mentioning this Christmas art journal class. I signed up today and I can't wait to go out tomorrow to find a book suitable for this project. I have been wanting to try this out so I am very excited to play and explore outside my usual comfort zone.

Talk about getting into the Christmas spirit-this is so awesome! The wreath cover is beautiful. Looks like a little brown ribbon poking out the top? Loving those colors together.
