It is all good.

One of the things that I have been asked a lot lately: do you like traveling so much?

My answer: I am always ready to go where I am going, and then I always ready to come home.

Seeing the sign for the final leg of my flight tends to make me feel pretty darn happy. Coming home to the boys can sometimes be a bit overwhelming depending on what is happening around here and what my to-do list looks like. Yesterday was all good (except for one piece of missing luggage that I am hoping will arrive today).

The boys picked me up at the airport and we headed home to hang out. Simon and I took a nap together. We went grocery shopping. Chris and I had spaghetti and wine for dinner. We all went to bed around 9:30pm. All those normal, great things that I miss out on when I am away working.

It is good to be home.

And it was good to be in Indianapolis.

Loved, loved, loved staying with Candi. Meeting Jennifer (Candi's neighbor). Meeting a bunch of amazingly creative women at all three Scrapbook Xanadu stores. Being inspired by them and their stories and photos and spirits. Finding lots of cool products I just had to have (which are in the bag I am missing). Thanks Mary for bringing me to your part of the country and introducing me to so many wonderful women.

So like I said, it is all good.

Hoping to get back into my Christmas Art Journal today. Have some work to do, things to organize, Christmas spirit to cultivate.

And, Andrea Wiebe - thank you - please email me again!
