Delight in Life.
My bathroom needed a little something.
I have had these prestretched canvases in my closet for awhile, just waiting to become something. The other night I decided it would become an inspirational piece for my bathroom.
So very simple.
I used a strip of masking tape to cover up one portion of the white canvas. Above the tape I painted green. Below the tape I painted cream. Two coats. Then I removed the tape.
I used 7gypsies rub ons for the little black details. I handwrote "delight in life." The word stickers come from Making Memories, Die Cuts With A View, and K&Company. The black circle stamp is from Savvy Stamps.
Do something creative today.
Also, there was a question yesterday about my camera. My main camera is a Canon Digital Rebel with a Canon Fixed 50 mm lens (1.8). I love this camera and this lens.
And Melanie asked about how I keep my quotes - working on that one right now - more to come.

Ali, your ideas never cease to amaze me, where do they come from? Do work hard at something new, or does it just hit you like a bolt of lightening? You are such an inspiration.
Oh yes, I am desperately awaiting a 1 1/2" square punch, so I can scraplift your gorgeous Christmas 2005 LO. It's absolutely fab :0)

Had a quick question that I've been meaning to ask: what pen do you use to write on textured cardstock??? Every time I try it, my handwriting looks like I'm having an anxiety attack!!! What pen did you use for the handwriting on the canvas, too??? Thanks for the tip!

Hi there! A friend told me about your blog ... I love it! :) What a terrific way to create artwork for your bathroom. Maybe I'll try that in our guest bath ... we're doing a botanical theme in there. Thanks for the idea! Happy New Year! :)

Hi-
Whatever happened to your Christmas art journals - the one with the circles and the Shimelle class journal? Will we ever get to see these? I personally would love to take a peek!

Very cool. I was also wondering about the moisture effects.
Can hardly wait to hear what you do with quotes and all that misc. stuff. I'm currently re-organizing my room.
