How cool is this?
Tags:A little birdie (thanks Michelle) emailed me tonight and told me that this little blog was selected for a 2005 Scrap Jazzy award from scrapjazz. Thanks guys, that is just too cool.
Totally busy today with projects and getting ready to head to CA. Staring around at piles and messes.
And, big excitement here, we traded in our gas guzzler SUV for a Subaru Outback. I have loved these cars for ages and had come to the conclusion that it was not meant to be - Chris just did not have the same love for them that I did. When we went out looking at cars the other day, somehow, someway Chris decided to test drive the Outback and he was impressed. It was actually funny how much he enjoyed it - as he says, "I was impressed by the features and how it handled. It made a lot of sense for what we need with a dog and a kid and gas prices where they are..." Went back tonight and drove that baby home. Guess what color? Green, of course.
Other big excitement today - I had my first personal training appointment at the gym. My trainer did a nutritional analysis and calculated all my current measurements (scary) and we set some goals. This is just what I need to get me going in the right direction. This one, this is for me.

You will love the outback...they are wonderful in the wild weather of the north and they are sooo kid friendly.

Congrats on the Outback. Even more congrats on hitting the gym. I've been there (and need to get back there) and it's not always fun. The appontment will keep you going. You'll be amazed at how much strength you have.

So awesome, Ali, that you are working with a trainer and exercising!! That it just awesome....so good for you, plus it is "just for you", like you said. We all need that time just for us. Rock on with the happy endorphins you'll get from it! I hate days when I don't get the gym...makes me feel like part of my day was missing! Hope you enjoy it, too.

We have a green Subaru too! My cousin has the Outback, we have the Forrester. You should see the pics we took in the Patagonia with both. :D
