Ali, I had a blast in your Perspectives class! It was great to finally meet you!
How about another visit next year since you had such a great time? ;-)
Ali..enjoyed your classes so much..I took Perspectives and the 5 Fave Photos...loooking at your great picture..you know Laura Bush is a scrapbooker..bet she didn't realize how close she was to a scrap celeb..er..Life Artist...or she would have invited you in.
Ali, it was so great to have you in our Nation's capital! I'm SO glad you missed the snow! We got pounded Sunday evening! I took your Today You class and was amazed at what I accomplished. You are so incredibly talented and I just had such a fantastic time! Thank you for heading out our way. :)
glad you made it home safe! thanks so much for the awesome classes and the MM corner foam stamp-have already used it twice!! you rock- have fun in the NL
I have a photo of myself almost the same - except I had a "Hustler" t-shirt on!!
Maybe Chris needs to aim for the White House - imagine the scrap room you could have THERE!!
I was just in DC over a month ago and all I can think of right now is a quote from The American President (a movie with Annette Benning and Michael Douglas). Anyway, the President says to his date, Annette, "Did you know that the White House has the best home court advantage in the world." "The U.S. designed it that way." I am para-phrasing but that's the gist of it. That's the way DC made me feel. All that concrete. So tall. So powerful looking yet graceful. All those monuments. The single item that touched me the most was Arlington National Cemetary. Thousands of white headstones. Tragic. Sadness.
