Happy March.
Tags:Woke up this morning to sunshine peeking through the shades. Man, that was nice. And again, Simon on one side and Chris on the other.
Thought I would wear a skirt in honor of the niceness of it all, but it turned out to be a bit overzealous. Still just a tad too chilly.
Started off listening to talk radio, then shut it off in favor of something more happy: Jack Johnson's soundtrack for the new Curious George movie. Nice and light and glad.
Doing laundry.
Opened the windows to let a bit of fresh air in this house that really needs a good, solid cleaning.
Celebrating the news that my sister-in-law is going to have a baby later in the year. I am going to be an aunt. Simon is going to have a cousin. So very wonderful.
Scrapbooking.
Organizing piles. In realtiy, making new piles.
Reviewing proofs for my new book.
Eating tortilla chips.
Needing to make another pot of coffee.

Oh! I so hear ya! I have the Curious George soundtrack on repeat. It's good creative music. Wipes out the stress of the deadline and just lets the calm in - very cool. So glad to know someone else likes it too. Looking forward to seeing you and meeting you in Portland in a few weeks. Enjoy!

We've been loving the new Jack Johnson stuff, downloaded it from itunes and have it playing a lot. The movie is good too - the kids just loved it!
I'm envious of the great weather you are having. We are still in snow and it is cold outside today.

Congratulations on aunt-hood. Is this your first niece/nephew? It's a fun job, get to spoil them when you feel like it (kind of like grandparenting).
I, too, am skilled at creating new piles out of old ones. Need to work on the 'shrinking the pile' skill set as well. That's where the real progress lies.
