Just a couple pics from Mother's Day weekend. "Where's Simon camera?" was heard over and over again. He took it outside and caught his stuff out there: his play tent, his bubbles, Lily, his MouseTrap game. Inside he captured Mom & Dad, his favorite OJ with the long windy orange straw, Dora's house, his movies, and on and on. It is so cool how he wants to take photos of "his" stuff - his everyday stuff. Hmmm, wonder where he gets that from?
Right now he is watching Dora on my computer while I scrapbook. It works.
Some random stuff:
• Watched American Idol last night - go Taylor. And go Prince - that was a sweet surprise. Love Prince. Chris and I had been rooting for Taylor since the beginning - watching him feel the music is both entertaining and inspirational. And I am all over his voice too.
• Love the new KI Memories Color Theory line. Find myself overusing it already! I was excited about it after the winter CHA show - now that it is here, man, I need to put it away.
• The other thing I find myself wanting to use on everything right now are Rhonna's stamps.
• I am totally in super create mode right now - my hands can't keep up with my mind or with the clock. Challenging too when Simon is home with me all day.
• Looking forward to heading over to Hermiston, Oregon (eastern Oregon) next weekend for classes at Daisy Bucket. Mom and Simon are going to come with me this time. I think there are a couple spaces open if you are looking for something to do.

My daughter lines her movies up just like Simon. She calls them her road and then she walks on them. She does it over and over again. I think she would rather line them up then watch them, LOL! Simon takes some great photos. Thanks for sharing.

What great photos! What type of camera do you have for him to use? I have a DSLR and my son loves to "Take" pictures - I need to get him something that he can use, any suggestions. I think you are a fantastic Mom - we all have challenges and you really seem to embrace yours and try and go with the flow. That is an example to me as I deal with things in my own life.

Of the photos...the one with all the DVD cases lined up...did Simon line up the cases?
One of my brother's lifelines has always been videos (and now DVDs). As a child, he would line up EVERY SINGLE ONE - perfectly - in his own particular order. God forbid you walked by and nudged a case out of place.
He also kept them in very specific order on the shelf when he was done with them...
Seeing those DVDs in a row sure made me think of my brother. I need to go scrap that...
