What a big week for Simon! A movie in a movie theatre and now a new bike? Awesome! I love the look of determination on his face in that picture:-) Tell him congrats for me (and to you too!!)
Congrats!! Such a huge achievement.
(It seems every time I see a picture of Simon he seems much older and wiser than his age. The bike makes it even more so.)
I just missed getting in on the chat. I have to say though you are truly an inspiration to me. I used to teach pre-school many years ago and I had several students with Autism. Sometimes the days were very difficult but most days were so rewarding. I got to see two wonderful boys really grow and shine. Go, Simon go!
Hi Ali,
I'm excited about Simon starting to learn to ride.
I wanted to thank you for sharing your personal life. Even thought I don't "know" you I feel like I have a glimpse into your life. I feel like you are a friend because of the similarities I see between us. I thank you for being "out there" especially since I just moved with my young family to New York city. I'm a country girl, or at least a suburbian girl. The change has been hard. But, being able to read your blog and journaling on your layouts brings me comfort, like being home. Thank you for sharing.
Sincerely,
Kaci
