Simon & tall grass & home.
Tags:Edited: Just wanted to let you guys know that my parents took this photo at their home on the Oregon coast. Amazingly cool.
We are all home together safe and sound again. Spent last night, the three of us, on our bed in the dark watching neighbors shoot off fireworks. Totally delighting in the time together.
Planning to take Simon to the pool today. Super nice weather here. Amazingly nice. Gotta get outside and enjoy it. Skip the messy house that needs to be cleaned...
The meetings in Park City were great - totally excited for the updates and new things we will be bringing to you in the magazine. Educate. Empower. Inspire. I love our focus. We are all so passionate about what we do...
And hey - if you live in/around the Portland area, I will be at Life's A Scrapbook in Sherwood on Sunday, July 16th for one class (Favorite Photos from noon to 3pm) and a book signing from 3-5pm. There are still a few spaces open for the class.
And I should be getting my schedule back up soon. Just needing to make a couple of adjustments due to the campaign and Simon's scheudle and my increased responsibilites for CK. Man, wish I could do it all. Such is life...and I want to make sure I am keeping my focus on what is most important in my life.
Happy Sunday!

Love this photo . Is it taken along the oregon or washington coast? I just got back from Portland, and Eugene. I thought those gnomes at the Eugene airport in the planters were so funny and cute. You continue to inspire me daily.

LOVE the photo! It is so surreal! It looks like Simon was dropped into a movie set for the Wizard of Oz or some Liliputian movie. Great perspective! TFS :)

Gorgeous photo Ali! Glad to see someone else skipped the housework today too! I spent the day starting an 8x8 scrapbook of my mother-in-law. She passed away unexpectedly in May at the age of 64. I am doing the scrapbook for my husband. Am anxiously awaiting your book in the mail. It's been shipped! Have a great week!

this photo is a "keeper". I absolutely love it. reminds me of a time gone by - like it should be on the cover of an old book - like those I devoured as a child - 30 years + ago.
well done to Ali's folks for capturing this.

what a great photo. i am SO travelling to the pacific northwest. it is exactly as i imagined it to be. if that was taken by one of your parents, i can see where you get your artistic talent.
